On the occasion of the ITS (Intelligent Transportation System) Global Event and the
ITS-China event, both in Dubai in September 2024, we decided to dedicate the main
theme of our 11th issue to the interesting topic of smart urban transportation, which is
becoming increasingly important in our region. The cover of this edition, therefore,
depicts some of the key elements of ITS, from Vehicle 2 Vehicle Communication and
advanced traffic control mechanisms to Smart Parking Solutions.
